Isn't the Bible full of contradictions?

What the Bible Says?

"The entirety of Your word is truth." – Psalm 119:160 NKJV

Three Things to Consider

  1. Different perspectives are not contradictions.

  2. Context, culture, and genre answer most alleged problems.

  3. Honest questions lead to deeper understanding, not doubt.

Short Answer

No. Most so-called contradictions disappear when we read in context. Four witnesses to the same accident will tell the story differently, each emphasizing different details, and courts consider that a sign of honest testimony, not deception. The Gospels work the same way. Other apparent conflicts come from ignoring culture, genre, or the author's purpose. Bring your toughest question. Christians have studied these passages for centuries, and careful answers exist. God's Word is not in conflict with itself. It is truth, throughout.
