How do we know the Bible came from God?

What the Bible Says?

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." – 2 Timothy 3:16 NKJV

Three Things to Consider

  1. Scripture is God-breathed.

  2. Fulfilled prophecy and unity support that claim.

  3. Jesus Himself treated Scripture as God's Word.

Short Answer

The Bible claims to be breathed by God, and the evidence supports that claim. It contains specific prophecies fulfilled centuries later, especially in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. It tells one unified story across forty authors and fifteen centuries. It changes lives in every culture where it goes. And the strongest reason of all: Jesus, who rose from the dead, treated the Scriptures as the very words of God. If the risen Jesus trusted the Bible, we have every reason to trust it too.
