Why am I afraid to share my faith?
What the Bible Says?
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord." – 2 Timothy 1:7-8 NKJV
Three Things to Consider
Fear is normal, but it isn't from God.
We usually fear rejection, ignorance, or damaging relationships.
The Spirit gives power, love, and a sound mind.
Short Answer
Almost every Christian feels it. We fear rejection, saying the wrong thing, being labeled, or damaging a relationship. Even the apostle Paul asked for prayer to speak boldly. But fear isn't from God. He has given us His Spirit, who brings power, love, and a sound mind. Courage isn't the absence of fear; it's obeying God anyway. Start small: pray for one person by name, ask God for an opening, and share one sentence about what Jesus has done. Love for people eventually grows bigger than fear.
