What if someone rejects me?
What the Bible Says?
"He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me." – Luke 10:16 NKJV
Three Things to Consider
Rejection of the message isn't rejection of you.
Faithfulness is your job; results are God's.
"No" today isn't always "no" forever.
Short Answer
Some people will say no, and it may sting. But Jesus said that when people reject the message, they're ultimately rejecting Him, not you. Your job is faithfulness; the results belong to God. Paul planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. Many believers heard the gospel several times before they responded. Your conversation may be one link in a longer chain. Stay kind, keep the relationship, and keep praying. A "no" today isn't necessarily a "no" forever.
