What the Bible Says?

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another." – Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV

Three Things to Consider

  1. God never designed faith to be lived alone.

  2. Church is where we're encouraged, equipped, and held accountable.

  3. Others need what God has given you.

Short Answer

Because God designed faith to be lived together. A coal removed from the fire soon goes cold, and Christians isolated from other believers do too. Church is where we worship together, learn God's Word, receive encouragement in hard seasons, and get held accountable when we drift. Hebrews tells believers not to quit gathering, because we need each other to keep loving and serving. And it's not only about what you receive. God has gifted you to build up others. The church needs you as much as you need it.
