What happens when I die?

What the Bible Says?
"And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." – Hebrews 9:27 NKJV
Three Things to Consider
Death is not the end; your soul is eternal.
After death comes judgment.
Your eternal destination depends on your relationship with Jesus.
Short Answer
Death isn't the end of you. God created human beings with eternal souls. Hebrews says we die once, and after that comes judgment. There's no reincarnation, no second lap, and no fading into nothing. For those who trust Christ, Paul says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). For those who reject Him, death brings separation from God. One day, at Christ's return, every body will be raised. What matters most is settling your relationship with Jesus before that day.
