How do I share my story?
What the Bible Says?
"Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you."- Mark 5:19 NKJV
Three Things to Consider
Before: what life was like without Christ.
Turning point: how you met Jesus.
After: how He has changed your life. Make Jesus the hero.
Short Answer
After Jesus freed a man from demons, He sent him home with simple instructions: tell your friends what the Lord has done for you. Your story works the same way. Use a three-part outline: what your life was like before Christ, how you came to trust Him, and how He's changed you since. Keep it short, about two or three minutes. Be honest, not dramatic. And make Jesus the hero, not yourself. Your story isn't about how good you became. It's about how good Jesus is.
