What the Bible Says?

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." – Revelation 21:4 NKJV

  1. Not floating on clouds; a renewed creation.

  2. No more death, pain, sorrow, or sin.

  3. Best of all, we'll be with Jesus.

Short Answer

Forget the cartoon image of harps and clouds. The Bible describes a new heaven and a new earth, a real, physical creation restored and made perfect. There will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain. No hospitals, funerals, or broken relationships. We'll have resurrected glorified bodies, meaningful work, worship, and fellowship with God's people from every nation. But the best part isn't the streets of gold. It's Christ Himself. Revelation says God will dwell with His people. Heaven is heaven because Jesus is there.

Heaven or Hell describe both eternal destinations with biblical integrity the way the Jesus, the prophets, and the apostles described heaven and hell in their day.
